How To Choose The Correct Format For Your Billboard
Saturday, November 21st, 2009Most billboard ordinances only allow you so many square feet of billboard. But they normally do not regulate what you do with that area. If the ordinance allows you to build a billboard with 672 square feet of area, you could build a 14’ x 48’, or two 14’ x 24’s side-by-side, or two 10’ x 30’s stacked one on top of the other, or even a 1’ x 67’ sign that nobody will ever rent since you can’t even read it before you have driven by it ( you cannot, however, build a sign 1’ wide by 67’ high since it will not pass the maximum height allowance). So how do you decide what format or size to build?
