Skyscrapper- Sized Billboards to Appear in Miami

City commissioners in Miami would like to create a “Times Square” of their own.  In hopes of succeeding, they have given Mark Siffen the ok to create two 500 foot electronic billboards in the downtown area.

Couple Files Lawsuit Over New Billboard

A couple has filed suit concerning a new billboard that has been built in their neighborhood to replace an older, smaller sign. Outcepts Management has removed a 49′ tall billboard and replaced it with a 69′ tall one (although the couple alleges that the new sign is actually 75′ tall). (more…)

THE INCORRECT ASSUMPTION ON BILLBOARD HEIGHT

When I first got in the billboard business, I assumed that the taller the sign, the better the sign. When I was driving down the interstate and I saw a really tall billboard, I would think to myself “now there’s a valuable sign”.
