Even though there are very few unlit billboards in existence today, except in extremely remote areas of the U.S., there are so many lighting options that it is important to have a good working knowledge of each – and to know which work and which don’t. Since a poorly lit sign can be hard to rent, and require a substantial discount in rent, you should definitely become an expert on this.
