Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Can’t Seem To Get Billboard Removed
Friday, April 16th, 2010The City of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, voted to take a billboard in the parking lot of a new hotel as a part of the condemnation process two years ago. Yet it’s still standing – and advertising a competing hotel.
“We’re still anticipating the city removing the billboard” hotel developer Paul Borsheim said. “They say they’re committed to getting it removed. Unfortunately, the condemnation process doesn’t go as quickly as we would like”. (more…)
Billboard Company Offers To Save The Hollywood Sign
Friday, March 26th, 2010Beverly Hills – based Sky Tag Outdoor has offered to buy the land under the landmark Hollywood sign for $12.5 million if the city will settle its lawsuit with the company. A home developer has proposed to build a development under the sign, which may impact it. There has been a fund raising effort to raise the funds necessary to buy the property. (more…)
