Billboard May Cost Kentucky $42 Million in Highway Funds

A billboard with the message “Hell is Real” has put the State of Kentucky in a precarious position with the U.S. Government regarding highway funding.

Under the Highway Beautification Act, states must monitor and enforce the statute or risk losing their national funding of their highway program, In Kentucky, that amounts to about $42 million per year. (more…)
